4th Dan

After nearly 30 years of karate I had the honor to receive the 4th Dan from Hanshi Steve Arneil at the British Summer Camp at Felsted, Essex UK on August 16th, 2015 .

Kids Karate Testing

Sunday, August 9th we had another testing session for kids. This time only a small part of the kids participated , due to the fact that is summer and some kids are doing other activities.
All kids performed the required syllabus , kata and strength exercises and successfully passed the test.

Two silver medals

Congratulations to Sep and Gleb who both got silver at the Grappling Industries bjj tournament this weekend in Toronto. Also Rezza fought hard , but didn't manage to get a medal . Great job team CKMA ! Osu !

Going to the BKK Summer Camp

IFK Canada will participate at the BKK ( British Kyokushin Karate ) annual international summer camp in Felsted , Essex UK . The camp is from August 13th to the 16th with Hanshi Steve Arneil 10th Dan .
Our team is is represented by Contact Kicks Dojo members, Senpai Mici Fogarasi, Scott Heaney and myself. We are excited to train with kyokushin karateka from other countries and learn more from Hanshi and the Shihans ! Osu !
